The words TEN-WA-JIN literally meaning "Heaven Harmony and Man"" is often inscribed on the entrance ways. Our Mixis Ten-Wa-Jin Dress is wrapped with an obi sash complete with a musubi knot. In ancient times the knots were believed to banish malicious spirits.
