We updated design lines and swapped out some components, but the idea is the same as the first Delta. The 2 still has that clashing combination of supportive and space age-like materials, with lots of different textures and heavy stitching to create a look that's both adventurous and iconic. Modern Materials Mix Different materials come together to create a shoe that looks both high-tech and handcrafted. Layers of foam and see-through mesh offer a lightweight, foot-hugging sensation. Suede and synthetic overlays add structure. Smooth, Soft and Responsive Cushlon foam is soft, lightweight and flexible. It feels smooth from heel to toe and is designed to help provide responsive cushioning. Targeted Traction Rubber is strategically placed on the outsole to provide traction in the spots your foot hits the ground. The rubber continues up the midsole in curvy lines as a design update from the first Delta. Mudguard along the outer midfoot provides side-to-side stability. Flexible tongue creates a snug fit.
