Description
Distinguished German watchmakers, Junghans, created a series of watches inspired by the extraordinary Swiss architect, sculptor and product designer Max Bill. Studying at the Bauhaus in Dessau, Max Bill first designed minimal watches for Junghans back in 1956 and the designs are produced in a virtually unchanged form today. Made with great attention to detail in Germany, the Max Bill Chronoscope watch is designed with a round, silver-tone stainless steel case and a black calfskin leather strap with a stainless steel buckle. The minimal white face is detailed with the signature logo to the left side, 30 minute and 12 hour counters and a date window. Each matte, silver-plated minute and track hand is treated with an environmentally friendly luminous substance for increased visibility in the dark. Functioning on a self-winding J880.2 movement with a 48 hour power reserve, the watch face is housed in a convex hard plexiglass with a scratch resistant coating for increased durability. Complete with a branded presentation box. Case: Stainless Steel. Strap: Calfskin. Function: Self-winding movement calibre J800.2 48 hour power reserve Case Dimensions: Diameter: 40mm. Height: 14.4mm.
