Description
The K'NEX Simple Machines Class Set contains 2199 K’NEX pieces that will encourage students to explore the key scientific concepts involving simple machines. Children can actively build machines that require the use of levers and pulleys, wheel & axle, inclined planes, gears, wedge and screw. The class set will build 15 simple models, up to 8 at a time, supporting 16-24 students working in groups. The set includes teacher lesson plans and pupil instructions that will promote building, investigation, problem solving, discussion and experimentation based on STEM education that focuses on science, technology, engineering and mathematics concepts taught through problem-solving, discovery, exploratory learning and critical thinking. Full colour coded pupil instructions are included enabling students to work alone or in small groups.
