Description
The K'NEX Renewable Energy set contains 583 pieces that will build nine renewable energy models, three at a time. The set allows students to explore the principles of solar, wind and water powered machines within the STEM principles: science, technology, engineering and mathematics concepts taught through problem-solving, discovery, exploratory learning and critical thinking. Students are encouraged to work together as they build, investigate, discuss and evaluate concepts, ideas and designs, creating models built from lesson plans included or from their own designs. Housed in a strong storage tray with snap-on lid, the set includes a Teacher’s Guide and detailed lesson plans.
