Though we know (and praise) his name from his collections of menswear, Raf Simons actually first started out by training in furniture design. This would explain how he’s managed to so seamlessly collaborate (geddit) with textiles company Kvadrat, creating exciting lines of playful upholstery; the Pilot cushion experiments with the use of texture, turning a simple sofa accessory into a sculpture in its own rite – we’re not surprised it’s been added to Skandium’s curation.
