Lightweight Mesh Upper
Helping to keep the overall weight of the shoe down to a minimum, the upper of the Bushido 2 is extremely light, which will allow you to push yourself further and faster. For further protection, the heel has a firm counter that surrounds it, which will keep the rearfoot in a strong and upright position to keep it healthy. Finding a secure fit is easy to achieve, with easy to fasten laces which will secure the shoe around the midfoot. The tongue will lie flat on the ankle, which will prevent irritation caused by rubbing and chafing from occurring. Towards the bottom of the midsole, the EVA is densely packed into the midsole, which will absorb all shocks and heavy impacts instantly and effectively. As you travel further up the midsole, the EVA becomes a lot softer, which will mean that on every step you will feel cushioned and comfortable. This will mean that there will be less stress and impacts placed on the heel and knees, which will guard against fatigue and helping you push yourself further and faster than ever before. Energy produced from each stride that you take will be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. In the forefoot, there is a rock guard which will improve the protection should you step on any sharp rocks.
Dual-Density Frixion Outsole
The durable dual-density Frixion outsole will provide you with supreme grip and traction a wide range of trails. Able to form a strong grip, the rubber will stabilise and anchor the feet to the ground. The rubber will guard against damage, as it is made from abrasion resistant rubber. This will mean that it will protect itself from damage from rocky ground, improving the lifespan and functionality of the shoe over the long term. Deep and aggressive lugs will dig into wet ground, anchoring you in place for a stable and secure ride. The outsole uses an impact brake system which will mean that you will quickly be able to come to a stop, or take on technical descents with more control.
