The result of research and development between La Sportiva and BOA, this incredibly neat and efficient shoe lacing system works by utilising a revolutionary BOA dial to loosen and tighten the shoe. Simply push, click and twist to tighten the shoe and pull to loosen, for a perfect, secure fit that won't go anywhere you don't want it to, even during the most intense training sessions. This dial system has the added benefit of making sure there is no excess fabric or laces flapping around and getting in the way so you can focus on your performance. The heart of the lacing system is the internal Dynamic Flap that wraps around the foot and allows dynamic adjustment of the tension by acting directly on the BOA™ Fit System dial, tightening and loosening with a simple one-hand movement for convenient, easy use.

The three-layer system built into the upper construction provides advanced levels of stability and protection. The first layer wraps around the foot from the outside of the shoe, forming a supportive cradle with two layers from the inner side. Two of these layers are static, meaning that your foot is locked into place and any lateral movement is reduced for increased stability and reduced risk of injury. A third elasticated layer allows for a small amount of adjustability and movement during wear, perfect for when feet expand in high temperatures, without sacrificing any security.

A built-in heel stabiliser directly above the EVA midsole works in conjunction with a heel counter located at the back of the shoe to wrap around the back of your foot to provide protection and stability. These supportive features work together to lock and hold your feet in place and reduce any lateral movement as you run over extreme and challenging terrain, again increasing comfort, and reducing the risk of injury. The protective TPU toecap and the multi-layer, thermo-adhesive side panel provide additional structure and impact protection.

This ultra shock-absorbing, flexible midsole provides protection from strain and stress on the joints, whilst also providing light, springy rebounds to power you into your next step. A double density injection with a stabiliser insert make this midsole is incredibly durable and long-lasting, so you know that these shoes can put up with anything the trail throws at them.

The upper of this shoe fits to the foot firmly but comfortably for a snug, secure sock-like fit. This not only provides greater stability and a fit that adapts to your individual foot's needs but also prevents dirt and debris from entering the shoe, so you can run safely, without irritation. A seamless tongue design and back gaitor complete the upper. The gaitor has a flap that can be pulled back with your fingertips, whilst also pulling on a small loop at the front of the tongue, allowing you to open the construction and slide your foot inside and out of the shoe with the greatest of ease.

This shoe is finished with a FriXion White Outsole, an ultra-grippy, sticky compound designed to provide great grip and durability out in the elements. 7mm multidirectional lugs deliver excellent grip, digging into uneven and muddy terrain for great traction and push off.
