Ariaprene UpperThe upper of the La Sportiva TX Canyon Walking Boots are constructed from a breathable sandwich mesh that works endlessly to allow air to fully permeate the entire upper of the boots. Throughout the upper Ariaprene is integrated, this repels the water and keeps your feet dry when the weather starts to turn. An external layer of abrasion-resistant TPU has been used to protect the shoes on the harshest of surfaces keeping them in top condition for longer, a lamination layer on the outer is used for added protection, whilst a 2mm soft foam layer has been added for comfort and shock-absorption. Keeping you secure and locked in is the Spyral Collar construction that allows tension adjustment through the Tongue-Lock closure strap connected to the internal tongue and covered externally by a second safety strap, this provides you with a secure customisable fit allowing you to feel comfortable on any surface.
EVA MidsoleLa Sportiva use an injection Moulded EVA midsole which differs from the standard compression moulded EVA midsoles for a high degree of cushioning and a better elasticity of the compound. These features assist the propulsion phase of the gait cycle, making these shoes ideal for use on offroad trails. Furthermore, EVA injected midsoles drastically reduce the squash effect of the EVA over time, allowing the compound to maintain the same characteristics and high performance for its entire duration. Through the midsole, holes have been created to allow water to drain, this allows the shoes to dry quicker whilst you are still wearing them keeping you comfortable and allowing you to carry on with your adventure.
Vibram® IdroGripThe La Sportiva TX Canyon Walking Boots have been made with the Vibram Idrogrip technology developed to achieve maximum grip in wet outdoor environments. Vibram IDROGRIP compound is perfect for activities where water is involved. Its superior performance on wet rock makes it the perfect compound for difficult trekking trails where overall super performance is required. To the front of the shoes, the toe area has been created with a climbing zone. This is a near flat surface with small grooves, this provides a bigger surface area and better grip allowing you to move and climb with complete confidence.
