Marimekko Apilainen coated placemat
Description
The Apilainen placemat features a pattern depicting flowers swaying in the wind. Designed by Lotta Maija, the charming Apilainen (meaning ”little clover”) pattern was inspired by a windy day at the summer cottage when grass and flowers would wave back and forth with each gust of wind. Colourful placemats are an easy way to add a unique touch to the table setting as well as to protect the table surface. Due to the acrylic coating, they are also easy to wipe clean using a damp cloth.
