Marimekko Kasvio cushion cover 50 x 50 cm
Description
The Kasvio cushion cover by Marimekko features a stylised botanical pattern consisting of stems, leaves and flowers of different plants. The designer, Lotta Maija, painted the pattern inspired by the pictures in old books on botany – hence the name Kasvio, meaning ”herbarium” or ”flora” in Finnish. She also drew inspiration for the pattern from the garden surrounding the cottage she stayed at during the summer. Measuring 50 x 50 cm, the Kasvio cushion cover is made of 100% cotton and has a hidden zipper on one side.
