Marimekko Kivet blanket
Description
Kivet blanket by Marimekko is adorned with a pattern of jagged circles designed by Maija Isola in 1956. A Finnish word for stones, Kivet was inspired by large rocks that were dug up from the yard of the artist’s atelier. The black and off-white pattern repeats on the other side of the blanket in opposite colours. The blanket is made of a soft and warm blend of wool, cotton and polyamide and finished with fringed ends.
