Designed in 1969 by Maija Isola, the Mansikkavuoret pattern was inspired by the pop art movement of the era. The light-hearted, almost dream-like pattern features a line of strawberries that seem to form a mountain range against a blue sky with clouds drifting across it – the name Mansikkavuoret translates to “strawberry mountains”.
