Description
Marimekko’s Piekana duvet cover is adorned with a graphic print designed by Fujiwo Ishimoto in 1983. The designer drew inspiration for the two-coloured chequered pattern from the Finno-Ugric peoples as well as textiles dyed using the traditional ikat technique. The simple grid print is fortified by the bold colour scheme and the asymmetrical borders of the cheques. The duvet cover is made of 100% cotton and measures 150 x 210 cm. Finish the style with a matching pillowcase.
