Marimekko Ruudut cushion cover
Description
The Marimekko Ruudut cushion cover features a collage-like pattern composed of sketches by Erja Hirvi, Maija Louekari, Anna-Maija Metsola and Jenni Tuominen. Each designer was given the task of creating an abstract nature-themed pattern that should be implemented with the paper-cutting technique. The end result is a fun grid that perfectly embodies the diversity of Marimekko's pattern designs. Some of the cotton used for the cushion cover is recycled, and its pattern has been printed using a mix of surplus dyes from Marimekko’s own printing factory in Helsinki – the colour of the print may vary according to the leftover dyes available at any given time. Please note that the colour may therefore vary from pictured.
