We used fabric from two legendary British companies, with over three centuries of experience between them, to create this extraordinary Anchorage pieced field-style jacket that protects from the cold and damp. The top is weather-resistant, classic waxed cotton from Scotland's Halley Stevensons, who have specialized in the rugged, densely woven fabric since 1864. The bottom paneling is a warm wool plaid from West Yorkshire's Abraham Moon & Sons, one of the last remaining vertical woolen mills in Great Britain. The wool-insulated, quilted interior lining adds an extra layer of warmth in a weight that feels just right. Made from hand-selected, traceable, natural, and renewable wool, the HD® Wool Apparel Insulation provides active breathability, odor-inhibiting comfort and unmatched moisture management. Adjustable-snap cuffs keep out wind. There's plenty of storage space with four cargo pockets, including side-entry bottom pockets, lined in soft tricot, for a place to warm your hands.
