Perforations in the fabric encourage cool air to circulate, removing uncomfortable heat build-up to create a healthy environment for your foot to thrive in. TPU overlays have been strategically placed on the upper to provide durability and support where it's needed the most. The reinforcements wrap the foot in lightweight support to promote a secure fit that resists the risks of wear and tear. A recycled mesh lining sits comfortably against the foot and increases ventilation whilst the padded collar reduces the risk of chafing and irritation. A protective toe cap helps to protect the toes from loose debris and rock. Completing the upper are 100% recycled laces which lock down the midfoot so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.
FloatPro Foam MidsoleWithin the midsole Merrell's signature FloatPro Foam has been used to ensure a light, durable ride. The midsole ensures ample underfoot cushioning to reduce the impact placed upon the feet on tough trails whilst remaining as lightweight as possible so you'll never feel weighed down. The lightweight midsole offers supreme cushioning and support to key areas like the arch and heel, holding the foot securely in place for a smoother transition and wear. Vibram EcoDuraDeveloped using a Vibram EcoDura outsole, the MOAB Speed provides extreme grip and traction for all surface wear. Developed for extremely slippery terrain, the extremely durable 30% recycled rubber can form a solid bond with the ground to anchor you in place. Despite facing abuse from rough ground, the rubber stands up against this, deflecting the blows and retaining a strong shape and structure.
