MQM stands for Moving Quickly in the Mountains, this is the third iteration of Merrell's best-selling all-rounder. The MQM 3 Mid GORE-TEX is stable enough to hike in, agile enough to run in and durable enough for light scrambling. Version 3 features a new grippy Vibram sole and a lace-to-toe lacing system for an improved locked-in fit.

Ensuring your feet remain dry, cool and comfortable during hiking, the MQM 3 Mid GORE-TEX Boots have a GORE-TEX waterproof membrane. The membrane prevents water from entering the boots during poor and changing weather conditions, whilst also ensuring that feet stay cool when the temperatures rise. Encasing your feet comfortably, the boots have a breathable mesh and TPU upper, to supply your feet with constant airflow, for cool, breathable comfort. The TPU elements provide feet with long-lasting reliability and enhance the durability of the boots, particularly in high-wearing areas. A 100% recycled breathable mesh lining is also utilised, further ensuring a constant supply of airflow, and with moisture-wicking properties, the boots keep your feet dry during the more intense sessions of your hiking adventures. The boots have a bellowed tongue, which sits comfortably against your foot to reduce irritation or abrasion from occurring, as well as, helps to prevent dirt or debris from entering. Working alongside this, the MQM 3 Mids have 100% recycled laces and webbing in a lace-to-toe system, which provide an improved locked-in fit that prevents in-shoe slippage from occurring.
Super Rebound Compound MidsoleProviding you with increased comfort and excellent cushioning, the Merrell MQM 3 Mid GORE-TEX Walking Boots have a Super Rebound Compound midsole. The midsole is specifically designed to provide enhanced stability and reduce the risk of injuries while ensuring a smoother and more natural stride. Its soft midsole delivers a seamless heel-to-toe transition, making it the perfect choice for conquering even the toughest trails with confidence. The boots have extra cushioning in the heel, to further enhance stability and a 50% recycled removable EVA foam footbed with a mesh cover provides additional levels of cushioning and extra breathability. Finally, the midsole has a Cleansport NXT treatment, which provides natural odour control for a fresher smelling and feeling experience.
Vibram TC5+ OutsoleFor outstanding grip and traction across a variety of surfaces and terrains, the MQM 3 Mid GORE-TEX have a Vibram TC5+. With deep lugs, the outsole works to keep you stable and supported on wet, muddy and changing surfaces, keeping you prepared and ready for whatever the trail throws at you. Finally, the boots have a rock plate which protects your feet from rocks and harsh terrain.
