Merrell's leadership in the barefoot category continues with the Vapor Glove 6. These are the most minimal shoes Merrell creates, featuring a Vibram EcoStep outsole that wraps the foot to maximise grip and connection, with a breathable mesh upper to keep feet cool.
Recycled Mesh Upper
The upper is constructed with 100% recycled mesh for optimum air circulation and ventilation, allowing your feet to breathe. A lining made with 100% recycled mesh allows for temperature and moisture control by allowing heat and moisture to escape, moving them to the shoe's outer - keeping your feet fresh and breezy. Merrell Barefoot 2 construction is designed to keep the foot in a natural position, with a zero drop, to encourage natural running form. By hitting the ground with your forefoot, rather than your heel, your speed will increase and your likelihood of injuring your joints will be lessened. A bellows tongue features on the upper to help keep out debris and lastly, a traditional lacing system locks the midfoot down to prevent excessive movement.
EVA MidsoleAn EVA foam creates the midsole ensuring a light, durable ride. The midsole ensures ample underfoot cushioning to reduce the impact placed upon the feet on tough ground whilst remaining as lightweight as possible so you'll never feel weighed down. The lightweight midsole offers supreme cushioning and support to key areas like the arch and heel, securely holding the foot in place for smooth transition and wear. By supporting these key areas of the foot, the midsole material can also help to offer enough support to help prevent discomfort and possible injury.
Vibram EcoStep OutsoleFinished with a Vibram EcoStep outsole, made from 30% recycled rubber, for an innovative combination of sustainability and performance, which provides added durability and improved grip on wet and dry surfaces. 2mm lugs grip onto surfaces and tackle smooth, rough, wet and dry surfaces easily so you can take your adventures to the next level.
