Leather Upper
Experience ultimate comfort and durability thanks to the leather upper of the Wrapt. This leather is naturally breathable, whilst also providing robust protection against any hazards out on the trail, such as loose rocks, branches and debris. The breathable mesh lining allows for excellent ventilation so feet can breathe, meaning you stay fresh and focussed, whilst the bellows tongue provides even further protection against debris, sealing out dirt and gravel. The traditional lace closure allows for a secure fit, ensuring stability and control.
EVA MidsoleWithin the midsole an EVA foam has been used to ensure a light, durable ride. The midsole ensures ample underfoot cushioning to reduce the impact placed upon the feet on tough trails whilst remaining as lightweight as possible so you'll never feel weighed down. The lightweight midsole offers supreme cushioning and support to key areas like the arch and heel, holding the foot securely in place for a smoother transition and wear. By supporting these key areas of the foot, the midsole material can also help to offer enough support to help prevent discomfort and possible injury.
Quantum Grip OutsoleDeveloped to provide traction and grip, the Wrapt has been constructed using a durable rubber compound. Offering multi-directional grip, the outsole provides traction on varied terrain ensuring confident footing whether you're hiking or out for a leisurely stroll in the local park. The durable rubber provides a strong grip on the most challenging terrain; it works to protect itself from damage and protect users from losing control and slipping. It is also highly durable meaning no matter what you throw at it, the Wrapt will perform time and time again. The outsole enables confidence in the most extreme trail environments to keep you grounded at all times. The Wrapt has been designed with the Merrell Barefoot 2 construction to keep the foot in its natural 'barefoot' position for optimised movement and comfort, whilst also allowing for greater proprioception.
