Breathable AirMesh Upper
Providing an exceptionally cool experience, the Wave Mirage 5 has an AirMesh upper, that efficiently provides airflow throughout the whole of the shoe, giving your feet the ultimate breathable experience. Alongside this, a Dynamotion Fit bootie construction offers an extra-snug fit in the mid-foot area. Using the latest motion capture and biomechanics technology, Mizuno's blueprint was designed to engineer shoes that work with the foot's gait cycle. The shoes innovative new bootie construction combines a separated stretch inner and outer layer providing you with an amazing fit, which also adjusts perfectly to the contours of your feet. The textile-based upper provides more comfort and no pressure points when you're bending and keeps the foot comfortably wrapped, offering a secure fit. Keeping things secure inside the shoes, a traditional lace-up closure helps to prevent in-shoe slipping from occurring and helps you remain focused on the court.
Mizuno PoWnCe and Enerzy MidsoleDue to the new and updated Mizuno Wave technologies, you are provided with maximum stability and the Mizuno Enerzy midsole construction allows you to experience optimal, comfortable and dynamic cushioning. The soft yet resilient Mizuno Enerzy midsole is softer and returns up to 20% more energy than its predecessor. In addition, the Mizuno Wave plates function as a stabiliser for your feet, during landing and will absorb all the shocks and blows due to the completely flat sole in the shoe.
Durable OutsoleThe Wave Mirage 5s have a durable outsole that provides grip and traction. Adorning the durable construction underfoot, the shoes have a D-Flex Groove Sole which brings unrivalled acceleration guiding naturally the movements of your feet. This is a superficially engineered diagonal groove in the midfoot areas, which allows you to turn at maximum speed and power by efficiently transferring natural body movement and shifting in any direction.
