Synthetic overlays surround the shoe to create a firm fit; they anchor your foot to the midsole and increase overall durability giving you added protection during a match. PoWnCe which offers excellent comfort and resilience properties, the lightweight construction ensures an abundance of cushioning underfoot that works to keep your feet comfortable through any match. Additionally, this shoe wouldn't be called the Wave Panthera without Mizuno's Wave technology. The Mizuno Wave provides flexibility in one direction and support in the other. The Wave absorbs shock without compromising the comfort or cushioning of the midsole, ensuring you stay comfortable at all times. The initial shock is then transferred back to guide you onto the next movement. The Wave prevents partial deformation and provides dynamic support to stabilise and guide the foot forward. Completing the midsole is an Zero glide sockliner which provide next to skin comfort and works to reduce in-shoe slippage for added control and faster movements.
X-10 Rubber OutsoleDeveloped to provide traction and grip, the X-10 outsole is the perfect addition to the Wave Panthera. The X-10 outsole provides superb traction on the court for quick and dynamic movement whilst also increasing overall durability so you can continue with complete confidence. X10 allows for longer wear in high impact areas and provides more traction during heel strike so you'll always feel in complete control. Specifically engineered diagonal grooves known as D-Flex Grooves have been built into the midfoot area of the shoe to allow the player to turn at maximum speed and power by efficiently transferring natural body movement and change in direction.
