Engineered Mesh Upper
Providing exceptional breathability and lightweight comfort, the upper of the Wave Revolt 3 has been made with breathable, engineered mesh fabrics, therefore providing you with a constant flow of air and coolness when you run, keeping you comfortable throughout your exercise. The upper also gives the shoe a soft and smooth fit, preventing discomfort. The ventilation provided by this construction creates a perfect microclimate for your feet to thrive in so you can go further for longer and in complete comfort. The shoes have a plush, cushioned tongue and collar for keeping your foot secure within the shoes and preventing dirt or debris from entering. This combination will work to prevent irritation or abrasion, and a lace-up construction will prevent in-shoe slippage from occurring and keep your foot locked in during intense movement.
Mizuno Enerzy MidsoleProviding soft, bouncy cushioning for your feet, the Wave Revolt 3 has an Enerzy midsole. The midsole technology works to absorb the shock of heel striking without compromising comfort or cushioning. Once the shock has been absorbed, the energy is harnessed and transferred to the forefoot to push you off and guide you onto the next movement. The midsole works to keep your feet comfortable at all times whilst also providing a strong and responsive base for you to push off from. Alongside the Enerzy technologies is a removable sock liner, providing you with more comfort and cushioning. Mizuno's Foam Wave technology also adds to these pre-existing comforts and supports you even more with every stride. The Wave technology gives you support and guides your foot with every movement. The interior of the shoe also has a contoured fit in the form of Dynamotion Fit, which will work with your foot throughout the gait cycle.
Durable X10 OutsoleA carbon-based rubber outsole is an exceptional addition to this shoe, as it will provide you traction on rocky or unpredictable terrain, and in particular at the heel strike. The rubber covers the heel, forefoot and midfoot to enhance durability, resisting the traumas of heel strike and toe-off to provide you with a reliable and long-lasting running buddy. Completing the outsole are flex grooves, allowing the shoe to flex and expand in every direction for an incredibly natural and lightweight feel as you train to enable a full, unrestricted range of motion in all directions.
