Using Mizuno's developed technology, the upper is made using AIRmesh. This ultra-lightweight material allows the shoe to maintain a high standard of breathability and comfort. A steady airflow enters and exits the shoe, which works to keep feet feeling fresh and cool. With Mizuno's integrated DynamotionFit technology, the shoe is tailored to have a glove-like fit. The engineering of it means that it also adapts to your gait cycle, again making it feel personalised. A traditional lacing system will allow you to secure the shoe to a comfortable and personalised fit and a soft and padded ankle collar reduces the risk of irritation being caused by rubbing and chafing.
Mizuno Enerzy MidsoleUpdated with the latest Mizuno Enerzy Foam, the Wave Ultima 14 provides amazing cushioning, comfort and a bouncy feel that will propel you with each step. This is combined with Mizuno Wave technology and Enerzy core, to provide an even softer landing whilst supporting the movement of the foot from landing to toe-off. Mizuno Enerzy has been developed with the mission to enhance performance capacity and guarantee that athletes retain more of the energy that they put in. All whilst providing an overall more comfortable feeling. Mizuno Wave foam stays as a core element of the midsole construction to guarantee stability, control shock absorption and enhance cushioning. The Wave's unique shape will absorb all energy from the strike of the foot on the pavements, where it is then dispersed. The midsole also features a bio-based Wave Plate. The cloud-like shaped Wave Plate resides underfoot and has an additional 2mm cushioning.
