Montane Chonos Jacket
With TACTEL technology designed to guard against the wind, the Montane Chonos Jacket is perfect for days out in the exposed countryside.
The Chonos Jacket is constructed using durable TACTEL technology, a fabric overlay system that will improve the comfort and warmth of the jacket. The overlays on the elbows and the shoulders will provide you with warm and comfortable windproof protection, keeping you protected in particularly exposed spots. In addition to this, the jacket uses Thermo 300 Pile Fleece. This will provide an extremely effective weight to heat ratio, keeping you extremely warm whilst remaining lightweight. The material is designed to wick surface moisture away efficiently and effectively, which will return it to its original lightweight feel should it be exposed to any moisture. Down the front of the jacket, there is a full-length YKK Vislon front zip, which has an internal baffle. This is easy to adjust, and will act as a block for the wind, keeping you protected and not exposed within. An adjustable hem allows you to personalise the fit of the jacket around your waist, where it will sit on you comfortably. As well as this, the adjuster will add a little bit extra heat retention. Similarly, the cuffs are low-profile, and will provide heat retention to your arms. A brushed collar and zip chin guard will deliver a soft feel against the skin, reducing the risk of irritation being caused by rubbing and chafing. Inside the jacket, seams are flat-lying, which will also remove the risk of irritation from chafing. Two hand pockets with zips will allow you to carry small items around with you securely, as well as providing you with a space to keep your hands feeling warm.
