New Balance LD5000v7 Running Spikes

Continuing to provide our lightest ride for the longest distances, the updated LD5Kv7 offers the perfect balance of structure and speed. A new engineered knit upper provides a second skin-like fit, with extra breathability and drainage perfect for the steeplechase. A new collar construction creates a sleek and secure fit around the heel for extra security in the most dynamic race environments.

Engineered Mesh Upper

Engineered mesh uppers will encase each foot in breathable comfort. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow to create a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. The increase in airflow allows cool air to circulate throughout the shoe whilst forcing out hot muggy air allowing you to remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times. As well as this, the upper is also water-resistant to provide added protection when the weather takes a turn for the worst. A bootie construction helps the fabrics sit closely against the foot without causing chafe and discomfort, allowing the shoe to also be worn without socks. Completing the upper is a lacing system which locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.

Resilient Foam Midsole

The LD5000v7 is designed for aggressive and responsive runners who need the feeling of speed, quickness, and agility. Made to be a shoe that can withstand the relentless power and determination of training, and see you through to the finish line, the resilient foam midsole is designed to last, offering you support and cushioning time and time again whilst allowing you to remain fast and responsive on your feet.

Pebax Plate Outsole

The full-length Pebax plate has been chosen for the outsole which provides an ideal balance of traction, flexibility, and speed. The 4 spike configuration offers superior traction and each spike can be removed and replaced depending on the wearer's personal preference.

**You don't want to feel your toe cramped up against the front of the shoe. A spike should feel like it was meant for your foot, a little more snug than a training shoe feels so we would recommend half a size up on normal shoes**
