Normann Copenhagen’s wooden Puffin is a charming decorative item made of painted birch that will make a lovely addition to a windowsill or bookshelf. When carving the first Puffin, designer Sigurjón Pálsson was thinking of his childhood in a small fishing village in Iceland, where seeing puffins in late winter marked the coming of spring. Puffins have a very special place in the designer’s heart, as a large puffin colony lived near his childhood home and he often used to look at the adorable creatures from his bedroom window.
