Normann Copenhagen Trace rug
Description
The Trace rugs from Normann Copenhagen catch the eye with their charming colour palette and lively geometric pattern. Sarah Böttger and Hanna Emelie Ernsting wanted to make floor a more inviting place and designed a collection of unique rugs with both familiar and modern elements. The inspiration for the graphic design came from traces in sand left by reeds and long grass in the wind. The quilted surface refers to soft blankets and creates a cosy ambience. The Trace rugs are made of wool and polyester – one side is monochrome and the other adorned by colour blocks – and their ends feature fringes in contrasting hues. The Trace rugs also make beautiful wall hangings.
