Engineered Mesh Upper
An engineered mesh features throughout the upper of the Cloud X 3 to keep your feet feeling cool, dry and comfortable as you power on. The lightweight mesh allows you to move freely without distractions or excess weight and material holding you back and provides exceptional breathability for added comfort during your run. It helps to keep feet well-ventilated by allowing intolerable heat build-up to escape and be replaced by cool fresh air. As well as this, the engineered mesh has been made with 90-95% recycled materials for a more sustainable design. A padded tongue enhances the comfort and fit of the shoes while the star-lacing system completes the upper to lock the midfoot to help reduce excessive movement.
Advanced Midsole and OutsoleThe Cloud X 3 outsole has been created for soft landings and powerful take-offs, thanks to On's innovative CloudTec technology making every step effortless. CloudTec is a completely unique cushioning system that absorbs impact, reduces strain and adapts to your running style providing you with a comfortable ride from the first mile to the last. Providing powerful energy return, the On Cloud X 3 features a Speedboard found in the midfoot shank to help provide added support on a maximalist midsole. The outsole includes high-abrasion rubber pods to provide you with a strong grip on the road no matter the weather condition.
