Originating in western Persia, this rug has been made with vegetable dye and quality hand-spun wool. The natural wool adds not only years to the rug, but also provides dirt-repellent qualities and thermal insulation. The inner field features an intricate floral medallion in a capsule on a midnight blue field with rich floral abstractions and vinery.
