This is a beautiful Pistachio, Beige, Rust, Wine, Sage, Brown, Taupe Multi Hand Knotted Palace Chobi Peshawar Wool rug from Pakistan. Peshawar rugs are known for their thinly sheared pile, large designs and antique finish look. The rug is a beautiful symphony of bold motifs, soothing colors and consummate artisanship. It features a traditional Persian design that has been co-opted in a contemporary palette to suit both traditional and modern decor styles. It is primed to add style and class to any space it is placed in. Chobi rugs have a rich lineage rooted in Persian, Turkman and Afghan cultures. Woven in the Peshawar region of Pakistan, these rugs reflect the rugged terrain they are manufactured in. In fact, the word "Chobi"" signifies colors of wood.
