Couture Craft. Each one of the Palm Springs Vases is hand-thrown by skilled artisans in our Peruvian workshop. The vibe-crafty yet couture, graphic yet organic-is achieved through levels of rigorous craftsmanship. Thrown from black stoneware infused with chunky grog and trimmed and chattered* to create a striated texture. Patterns are masked off using tape and wax resist and finished with a satin-matte ivory glaze. Why not cluster three on a mantle or a bookshelf to create an haute hippie skyline? *Chattering is created when a potter rhythmically bounces a tool across the vessel's surface.
