Parajumpers is inspired by the men of the 210th Rescue Squadron, based in Anchorage, Alaska. This squadron is highly trained for extreme rescues and recoveries in the wildest, most remote and hostile parts of the world. Parajumpers outerwear is designed to function in extreme weather and is engineered with highly technological components. The Parajumpers ‘Alden' down jacket is crafted from 20 denier nylon taffeta with a light down fill, which has a power rating of 700 for warmth in milder climates. The navy padded jacket is designed with a drawstring adjustable hood, two zipped pockets and internal pockets. Fastened with a YKK two-way zipper, the jacket features a stand collar with signature PJS elastic neck strap and a ribbed internal collar for added protection. Complete with underarm vents for increased ventilation, bound cuffs to trap warmth inside and a signature PJS logo patch on the left sleeve.
