Description
Four buff alo in Red, Yellow, White, and Black gather around a medicine wheel, pointing in the sacred Four Directions. The Lakota people depended on Pte, the bison, for food, clothing, and shelter. Pte were honored as “The Buff alo People.” Artist Jim Yellowhawk uses an ancient style to illustrate Mitakuye Oyasin, or “We are all related”: a belief that all living creatures are family, and can live in harmony and peace. 64x80 DRY CLEAN
