A protective plate on top of the cutter, and rounded tips instead of pointed ones, makes the blade glide smoothly- which is how OneBlade helps to protect skin from nicks and cuts compared to a manual blade. Plus we added a layer of micro-glass beads to dial down friction while you shave and help reduce razor burn. Philips Norelco products have adaptors with automatic voltage selection with 100 to 240 volts printed on the adaptor to select.
