Poiat’s Lavitta dining table features a round tabletop that rests on a delicate, three-legged base. Manufactured in Finland and Estonia, the Lavitta table is made of moulded and oak-veneered plywood. The table’s tapered lines and rounded corners share a similar expression with the chairs of the Lavitta collection. Lavitta, designed by Poiat, is a collection of clean-lined seating and tables that were awarded as the furniture of the year at the Finnish Muoto Gala in 2015. The design duo drew their inspiration from traditional Finnish outdoor furniture and created a series of contemporary designs that have a simple yet elegant appearance.
