Breckenridge lamp is inspired by a red indian cotton gown worn by Ann Cary Selden Breckenridge of Botetourt County, Virginia when her husband served congress in Washington between 1807 and 1819. The embroidered golden floral hand-stitched border of the gown became the "Breckenridge" pattern. Lamp is made of porcelain.
