Handmade in South Africa, this Golwe Ceramic Soup Bowls set combines neutral tones and organic functionality drawn from nature. The name Golwe is the translation of "waves" as used in the Afrikaans language and thus has inspired this organic shaped collection. Using locally sourced materials, each piece passes through the hands of 6 artists before being ready for the kiln resulting in a beautiful alternative to mass produced ceramic design. Each one is a work of art yet sturdy enough to be dishwasher and microwave safe. All organic sizes are approximate.
