Breathable Mesh Upper
Supplying feet with optimum breathability and extreme comfort, the Deviate Nitro 2s utilise a breathable mesh upper. These premium materials surround your feet with a soft, flexible layer to allow feet to move naturally, whilst perforations allow fresh, cool air to enter the shoes, supplying feet with constant airflow. The durable fabrics have moisture-wicking properties to prevent overheating and keep feet feeling dry, even during the more intense sessions. Alongside this, the shoes have PWRTAPE details, which are targeted reinforcements, providing feet with extra support and adding durability to the construction of the shoes. A rolled collar and flat tongue sit comfortably against your feet, helping to prevent irritation or chafing from occurring and enhancing the fit. The shoes utilise a traditional lace-up system which allows you to get a preferred fit and feel, preventing in-shoe slippage and ensuring feet remain locked in. NITROFOAM Elite MidsoleUsing Puma's nitrogen-infused thermoplastic foam, the Deviate Nitro 2s utilise NITROFOAM Elite cushioning. NITROFOAM Elite is an extremely lightweight, highly responsive cushioning. By infusing nitrogen into their foams, Puma has been able to expand the midsoles, resulting in an exceptionally comfortable compound for feet to land. Also, the foam enhances forward propulsion, helping you to hit those PBs, as well as, absorbing impact, to reduce the stress on your joint and the risks of injury or discomfort when running. The shoes use NITROFOAM for explosive energy return, adding a spring to your step and ensuring soft cushioning underfoot. The Deviate Nitro 2 Running Shoes also feature a PWRPLATE underfoot. The PWRPLATE is a carbon fibre plate, which is engineered to add stability to the midsole, whilst also minimising energy transfer and optimising running efficiency.
