PUMA Electrify Nitro 3 Running Shoes

In a redesign of the previous models, this dual midsole has more NITRO in the heel and durable PROFOAMLITE throughout the rest of the midsole.
Breathable Mesh UpperThe upper of the Puma Electrify Nitro Running Shoes have been constructed using a breathable, engineered mesh material to provide optimum breathability and comfort. The shoes use different patterns with perforations in areas of the foot that need more ventilation, this allows cool air to flow, whilst hot muggy air escapes. This provides a cooling sensation as you move and a drier, healthier environment for your feet to thrive. Increasing the structure and support of the shoes Puma has included Formstrip, which supports the foot and reduces in-shoe movement. The shoes also feature a TPU heel spoiler and a rolled collar to keep the heel secure and comfortable whilst reducing movement for a more secure ride. The Puma Electrify Nitro 3 has a traditional lacing system to provide you with a secure, locked-in feel as you move.
PROFOAMLITE and Nitro Elite Foam MidsoleThe Midsole of the Electrify Nitro has been created using a combination of Puma's most elite foam Nitro Elite and PROFOAMLITE. Nitro Elite foam is a nitrogen-infused Peba foam, that is lightweight and springy, providing you with high energy return and responsiveness. This foam is found in the heel area of the midsole to increase comfort and provide protection when heel striking. Infusing nitrogen into the foam Puma has been able to expand their midsoles, by doing so the shoes are extremely comfortable underfoot whilst also providing maximum propulsion with each step, letting you run further and faster with ease. Not only will the foam help propel you forward helping you to hit those PBs but it also absorbs shocks and negative impact forces as you strike hard unforgiving surfaces, by doing so this reduces stress on the joints and the risk of injury. The rest of the midsole has been created with PROFOAMLITE, an extremely lightweight EVA designed to cushion your landing and propel each step, the foam is firmer than the Nitro Elite and works to absorb shock quicker, reducing fatigue, helping you to put the miles in.
PUMAGRIP OutsoleFinishing the shoes is the last key feature, the outsole. Puma have used their PUMAGRIP rubber compound, which combines superior traction with durability. Strategically placed the rubber forms a solid connection with a wide range of surfaces, even when wet or dry, giving you the confidence to run whatever the weather. The strong connection with the ground will also provide a firm base for you to push off from, allowing for a more efficient gait cycle.
