Ultraweave Elite upper
The upper of the Puma evoSPEED Future Faster+ 4 has been created with lightweight Ultraweave Elite that encases each foot in streamlined comfort. The lightweight structure allows air to flow through it thanks to perforations in the fabric, these create a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. In addition, the shoe is infused with lightweight, supportive and breathable carbon fibre threads increasing the durability of the upper while a traditional lacing system helps to lock the midfoot to prevent excessive movement.
Lightweight Foam MidsoleSuper responsive and lightweight, the midsole reacts to each step providing cushioning on impact. This cushioning is important on footstrike as it reduces the amount of shock that is felt resulting in better and longer-lasting performance. Resilient and feathery, the midsole spares your joints as you sprint down onto hard, unforgiving track. A full-length PWRPLATE carbon fibre plate resides in the midsole. Intended to minimise energy loss during toe bend without increasing demand on the calf, it springs up under your heel as you stride forward, yielding the snappy, propulsive sensation that converts into extra-energised strides. The plate is curved at the front, helping give the runner back some of the energy they put in at toe-off.
Eight Spike OutsoleCompleting the spikes is a forefoot plate that includes ridges to increase grip when on the track. The plate's design uses eight changeable spike pin receptacles strategically placed for all distance events. A heel pad with dimples improves grip, for multi-surface traction and helps resist the traumas of heel-strike to supply you with a reliable, fast and long-lasting race buddy.
