PUMA Magnify Nitro Knit Running Shoes
It's all about a comfortable ride with the Magnify NITRO, and this season Puma have retooled this model with a breathable knit upper and combined it with a new 'cat's tongue' material to keep your feet secure. Constructed with Puma's thickest piece of nitrogen-injected NITRO foam in the midsole along with a layer of their sturdy PROFOAMLITE, this shoe is built for long runs where comfort is your top priority.
Knitted Upper
The upper of the Magnify Nitro Knit is constructed from a soft and highly breathable knitted material. It swathes the foot in soft comfort and allows built-up heat and vapour to escape through micro-perforations. This enhances the overall comfort of the shoe, giving your feet better ventilation when your run intensifies and a cooler, fresher climate for them to thrive in. A Puma Formstrip detail features on the lateral side to add durability to the upper for longer-lasting comfort and breathability. The new 'cat's tongue' material is strategically placed for keeping your feet secure, whilst a traditional lacing system locks down the midfoot for greater control and confidence.
Nitro Elite Foam Midsole
The midsole of the Magnify Nitro Knit has been created using the thickest piece of Puma's most elite foam. This is a nitrogen-infused foam that is lightweight and springy, providing you with high energy return and responsiveness. Infusing nitrogen into the foam, Puma have been able to expand their midsoles, by doing so the shoes are extremely comfortable underfoot whilst also providing maximum propulsion with each step, letting you run further and faster with ease. Not only will the foam help propel you forward, helping you to hit those PBs but it also absorbs shocks and negative impact forces as you strike hard unforgiving surfaces, by doing so this reduces stress on the joints and the risk of injury. Alongside this is PROFOAMLITE, a lightweight EVA compound that cushions your landing and propels every step. A TPU heel spoiler provides greater stability.
PUMAGRIP Outsole
Finishing the shoes is the last key feature, the outsole. Puma have used their PUMAGRIP rubber compound, which combines superior traction with durability. Strategically placed, the rubber forms a solid connection with a wide range of surfaces, even when wet or dry, giving you the confidence to run whatever the weather. The strong connection with the ground will also provide a firm base for you to push off from, allowing for a more efficient gait cycle. Increasing durability rubber placements on the heel have been included which will help to increase the life of the shoe.
