The Downpour Eco Pant is next-generation legwear for walkers and hikers who are committed to protecting the world as well as exploring it.
Utilising recycled 2.5 layer Pertex Revolve fabric, alongside a fluorocarbon-free DWR treatment, it is Rab's first ever mono-polymer waterproof shell pants. The Pertex fabric delivers lightweight and packable protection whilst remaining highly breathable, and allow you to move fast and stay comfortable. The bottoms use a polyester outer and membrane, which means that, in addition to being 100% recycled, it has the potential to be fully recycled at the end of its life. To ensure that you remain dry on your adventures, the Rab pants have a waterproof performance of 20,000mm HH whilst also providing moisture-wicking breathability for enhanced comfort. These practical bottoms allow trapped heat and moisture to escape whilst preventing rain from entering to keep you feeling dry and comfortable no matter the weather. It combines impeccable eco-credentials with a low-bulk elasticated waistband with an adjustable drawcord front for keeping the garment in place and comfortable, and knee-length YKK zips allow you to pull them on over walking boots when the weather takes a turn. Soft, lightweight and user-friendly, it's the ideal packable solution for weekend ramblers and seasoned hikers in mild, but changeable conditions.
