Designed to keep you comfortable, warm and protected, the jacket features a combination of Pertex Shield and Pertex Quantum. Constructed using Pertex Shield Fabric technology, the Resolution provides protection against the wind and rain whilst remaining comfortable and lightweight. The waterproof and windproof nature of the fabric ensures complete protection against harsh weather by preventing cold and wet weather entry. As well as this, Pertex Quantum is designed allows insulation to fully loft by tapping still air and improving the efficiency of insulation. Working to keep you warm and dry the Pertex Quantum fabrication has been treated with a highly durable water repellent treatment that can shed rain and snow easily for the winter months. It also works to block out cold winds so you can remain toasty and warm when the temperature drops. The construction also allows for a high level of breathability which works to increase airflow so you'll never feel and uncomfortable heat build-up. By allowing cool air to flow into the garment the ventilated fabric creates a perfect microclimate for your skin to thrive in.
To keep you comfortable and warm, a Goose Down has been used within the fabrication; it offers unbelievable insulation by trapping warm air inside the garment for maximum warmth at minimum weight. All Rab Down products use ethically sourced European Goose down certified to Responsible Down Standard. This ensures that our entire down supply chain can be traced so consumers can be confident that all down and feathers used in Rab products adhere to the highest possible animal welfare and safety standards. As well as this, the bonded box-wall construction ensures the down provides exceptional levels at all times. The helmet-compatible hood allows you to find the perfect fit whilst shielding you from harsh weather conditions. A relaxed fit is designed to be slim fitting but not too tight, it supplies comfortable coverage that moves with you and provides enough room for layering if you require it. The fit also ensures freedom of movement because your clothing choice should never inhibit your natural motion. A 2-way YKK VISLON front zip exists for complete temperature control, it can be worn up to seal in the heat and zipped down to release an intolerable heat build-up. As well as this, the zip also features a double storm flap and insulated zip baffle behind exists which helps to prevent cold weather entry. Two hand warmer pockets allow you to keep your hands warm when temperatures drop whilst a chest pocket allows you to store valuable items. A large internal mesh storage pocket is perfect for a map whilst a stuff sack allows you to pack the jacket down when it is not in use. Completing the jacket are hook and loop cuffs which allow you to cinch down the fit for added comfort and warmth.
