Powertex Upper
Made from an abrasive-resistant double ripstop upper, the Pedroc Pro Mid Powertex will protect your feet from knocks and bumps on your next hiking adventure. This upper will ensure that the shoes remain lightweight and comfortable, whilst ensuring a constant level of breathability is provided, preventing overheating and discomfort from occurring. Additionally, the shoes have a Powertex membrane working alongside the materials to enhance the level of breathability provided to and from the shoes. Not only this, but Powertex ensures excellent weather protection, including a PFC-free DWR treatment to prevent your feet from getting wet in poor and changing weather. The shoes have moisture-wicking properties to prevent a build-up of sweat and moisture when hiking, keeping feet dry and feeling fresh, even on the longer journey. Not only this, but Powertex is also highly sustainable so you can walk in confidence. Great for rugged terrain, the Pedroc Pro Mids has a Salewa 3F system to improve the fit and flexibility of the upper. This enhances the support and provides a blister-free fit, dramatically improving the experience of wearing the shoes and removing irritations or distractions that may come with an uncomfortable fit. Featuring an Ankle Protector System alongside a mid-height collar, the shoes have a protective, supportive design to keep feet stable on changing terrain. Finally, a Kevlar Cable Wrapping Net features to work alongside the laces, providing a secure, locked-in fit and feel, helping to prevent in-shoe slippage from occurring.
MFF+ MidsoleWorking to supply feet with a soft, cushioned landing and outstanding underfoot comfort, the shoes have a Multi Fit Footbed+ fitted, to provide stability and comfort from start to finish of your journey. Allowing you to make changes to the level of cushioning inside the boots, the MFF+ have two separate interchangeable layers, for a more customisable experience. Not only this, but the shoes have an EVA midsole compound to enhance underfoot comfort, providing you with a soft landing, reducing injury and absorbing the shock during strides. As well as this, Cleansport NXT has been used within the midsole to provide effective odour control.
