Synthetic Mesh Upper
The upper of the Salomon OUTpulse GORE-TEX Walking Shoe is constructed with a seamless closed-mesh upper. This synthetic upper material provides great durability and protection for outdoor activities whilst remaining breathable. A GORE-TEX technology membrane teamed with a special water repellent treatment ensures that your foot remains dry and protected from any rain or showers on the outsole and moisture created on the inside. The special treatment is applied to provide extra protection by ensuring the fabric does not absorb any water. The upper is designed to resist debris keeping you feeling comfortable on your hikes. The shoe is easy to put on and take off with the minimalistic, strong Quicklace for one-pull tightening. The Ortholite sockliner is moulded to match the contours of your foot for superior cushioning as well as breathability and durability to ensure excellent comfort and performance. Furthermore, the shoe is low-cut to keep your foot close to the ground and offers plenty of freedom of movement.

Contagrip OutsoleEnsuring long-lasting grip, the outsole of the Salomon OUTpulse has been constructed using Contagrip. The outsole utilises an all-surface rubber compound and a versatile lug pattern, for a confident grip on both wet and dry surfaces. The full rubber outsole provides premium traction on loose terrain ensuring a solid bond between you and the ground. The durable rubber used on the outsole of the shoe is abrasion-resistant which will prevent any damage from occurring over a long period of time exposed to hard ground. The rubber compound offers a higher density of rubber in high impact areas of the outsole where the most wear occurs throughout the miles, this helps reduce the wear and tear allowing you to run harder and for longer.
