Recycled Mesh Upper
The Peregrine RFG Trail Running Shoes have been created with a recycled mesh upper, that is locally sourced helping to lower carbon emissions. The upper's woven design ensures your feet have a constant supply of fresh, cool air to ensure you remain focused and ready to conquer every trail. Not only this but the ultralight construction will ensure that feet remain exceptionally comfortable and the sock-like fit of the shoes will ensure a secure and flexible fit, whilst providing plenty of protection when on the trail. The uppers are moisture-wicking to prevent an uncomfortable build-up of sweat and moisture from occurring and keep your feet dry throughout. An extremely secure lacing system will embrace the midfoot, providing a secure and steady fit and reducing any unwanted movement within the show so you can enjoy uninterrupted strides. Finishing the upper, a cushioned tongue will remove the risk of irritation being caused by rubbing and chafing, and will also block the entry of dirt and debris.
PWRRUN Bio MidsoleRunning through the midsole of the Peregrine RFG is a PWRRUN Bio compound. PWRRUN Bio has been created with 30% sugarcane ethanol-based sustainable cushioning, this provides a responsive feel whilst limiting dependence on plastic. Inside the midsole, Saucony has used Grind, unused manufacturing materials and end-of-life footwear, helping to reduce waste from the production process. The thick material has shock-absorbing properties to reduce impact and strain on the foot. FormFit technology has been used within the midsole to create a dynamic fit system, by adapting to the shape and motion of the runner's foot, eliminating millimetres of movement with each stride. This 3D approach to fit uses an underfoot cradle construction that is topped with cushioning that shapes your foot. Not only does FormFit work to provide a comfortable and supportive fit but, it is also highly flexible and hardwearing increasing the overall durability and comfort over long periods. FormFit surrounds the foot in a made-for-me feel which accommodates the feet giving them a feeling like these shoes were made specifically for you. Carbon Rubber OutsoleLining the outsole of the Peregrine RFG Trail Running Shoes, is a carbon rubber providing maximum traction and grip on changing trail surfaces, keeping your gait cycle as efficient as possible. The compound has been partly created with Austin Rubber made from a 50% blend of recycled tyres providing responsible grip and traction. Alongside this, are 5mm lugs which grip deep onto soggy trails, providing you excellent support on changing terrain.
