The GOLDEN GATE KIMA RT is a technical fell running shoe designed to reduce fatigue. The carbon plate enclosed in new-generation foam heightens the elastic response of the arch of the foot, reducing the physical effort of running without compromising precision on uneven terrain. Accurate and supportive, the GOLDEN GATE KIMA RT is designed and tested for maximum performance on the most technical trails, but also performs well on less demanding unpaved tracks.
3D Mesh
The Scarpa Golden Gate Kima Trail Running Shoe has been built with a 3D mesh upper for extreme breathability and durability. Micro perforations in the mesh allow heat and vapour to escape, as well as any moisture built up from within the shoe. These pores transport it all to the outside of the shoe where it can dissipate, and dry quickly, keeping your feet feeling cool, dry and fresh. These perforations also work to allow cool, fresh air into the shoe, where it can then circulate. This airflow helps your feet to breathe and avoids uncomfortable, sweaty sensations. This fresh environment also discourages bacteria growth, so unpleasant smells become a thing of the past. The sock-fit of this upper grips the foot firmly but gently for a comfortable feel that puts you totally in control. A traditional lacing system provides further security, anchoring the running shoe to your foot for confident strides.
