Supplying you with total comfort on the trail, the Mescalito TRK Planet GORE-TEX Boots utilise a Perspair fabric upper. Made from a single-piece upper, the shoes have a seamless construction to supply feet with an irritation-free experience and keep the boots lightweight and comfortable throughout. The materials are durable and help to keep feet protected when you're out on adventures. Additionally, the shoes have a breathable upper to ensure that feet remain cool throughout whilst also preventing overheating by effectively removing excess moisture or sweat from your feet. The PU Tek Hypertex inserts will further assist with abrasive resistance, making sure you can concentrate on the journey ahead. To keep you comfortable, dry and cosy, even in the toughest conditions, the shoes have a GORE-TEX Flux 3L membrane, which contains 98% recycled fabrics. This exceptional compound will allow you to travel anywhere in all weather conditions, due to its ability to repel rain and moisture and keep feet feeling breathable on the trail. To ensure maximum adaptability and comfort throughout the uppers of the Mescalito TRK Planet GTX Boots, the shoes utilise Scarpa's ergonomic Autofit Collar design. This keeps things comfortable around your ankle, reduces the impact of stress on the Achilles and enhances your performance on all terrain. Further keeping the boots secure whilst wearing, a 'Speed Lacing System' is integrated into the upper, allowing an optimal level of adjustment, and working to wrap the foot perfectly for a more precise, customised fit, offering the user in-shoe security.
EVA MidsoleUtilising an EVA midsole, the Mescalito TRK Planet will help to instantly attenuate shock and heavy impact when walking, therefore preventing injuries and discomfort on tricky, changing terrain. The compound works to transfer energy provided from this, into a rebound, providing you with an additional spring in your step. Not only this, but the EVA compound will cushion your steps, meaning long-lasting soft comfort when trekking. Further providing you comfort, the boots have a Flex Point System, which allows your ankle complete freedom of movement whilst also maintaining support and confidence on all terrains.
Vibram Ecostep Evo OutsoleProviding you grip and traction on tricky terrain, the boots utilise a Vibram Ecostep Evo compound sole, with up to 30% recycled rubber. This will keep the boots extremely lightweight and able to form a solid connection with a wide range of different surfaces, keeping you stable and upright. The rubber itself is abrasion resistant and will maintain its shape and definition even when using it on tough, rocky ground. An aggressive lug pattern will anchor your feet to the ground, creating a great level of grip on wet terrain and providing a solid and firm base to push off from. Flex grooves within the outsole will help foot flexion and reactivity on dynamic walks.
