Italian tennis champion turned sportswear designer Sergio Tacchini headed up his eponymous label back in 1966 because he wanted to create a colourful kit that would stand out against the plain gear worn by players at the time. The Ghilbi jacket is a reimagined version of the original design worn by his entire team during the US Davis Cup back in the 80s.
